What project we have for you

We are seeking an experienced and motivated FP&A Operations Lead to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will manage the FP&A operations team, oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, provide comprehensive financial analysis, strategic insights, and decision support to the delivery function. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance, analyze trends, and support key business initiatives.

What you will do

  • Lead financial planning processes for the Delivery organisation, including annual budgeting and monthly forecasting.
  • Partner with Delivery and Sales teams to align revenue forecasting and cost planning.
  • Own the analysis of actual financial performance of projects, including profitability, margins, variances vs. plan, and key cost drivers; collaborate with Delivery to drive corrective actions and improve financial outcomes.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial models to support pricing decisions for new and existing projects.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing strategic guidance and support in team development and promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with leadership to develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor business performance and drive decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and analysis processes.

What you need for this

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least three years in a leadership role. Experience in the Big 4 Audit firm and/or the IT industry will be a plus. 
  • ACCA, DipIFR, CAP/CIPA, CIMA or other certificates will be a plus.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with demonstrated experience leading teams of finance professionals, ideally consisting of 5 or more members.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Responsible and detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
